My grandpa was a construction worker and I remember him coming home after his long days with his beautifully dented lunchbox, similar to the one below, and Stanley thermos, much like the one pictured below that.






































For my bf's birthday this past year, I asked my grandma and grandpa to root out the old thermos and give it to my man, and they did! It now sits proudly atop our fridge, but I am hoping he will use it for his new job sooner or later. My grandpa said he ran over it with his truck at least once, but it still survived! They don't make 'em like they used to, that's for sure. It's a little piece of family history in our home.

Too Late For Goodbyes

I'm looking for something a tad classier to carry to work every day and this tote from LL Bean seems to do the trick. May ask for it for Christmas (in olive). Sorry for the tiny-ish pic -- it was the best I could do!

While I was there I noticed LL Bean has some truly beautiful and fairly affordable bags, for the ladies and dudes also!
















Thinking about getting this duffle for my man for Christmas as well! LL Bean bags all around!

A Case of You

Really trying not to spend extra money right now, but I find temptations left and right! It's difficult not to when one spends so much time on the computer. I'll hold back, tho...Anyway, I saw these stackable totem pole cups a while back on design sites, but now the piece has been picked up by Urban Outfitters...I still love it just as much! Comes in gold too...Oh, Canada!
