These Days
A few items of interest these days:
Gingham dresses are good.
Mirrored tables like this make me happy.
And just a dash of Native American style art, especially with a horse involved.

Private Dancer
I have something of a secret "thing" for tulle skirts, like this one. My favorite outfit ever on Sex and the City was Carrie's teal ballerina dress in the final episode in France. Wow. Anyway, this black tulle dress is so chic and adorable.

Summer Breeze
I find this dress to be a complete (pricey) dream.
And this one as well!
These shoes are what I wish I could wear to the wedding I am in next month: sweet, stylish and comfy!!
Summery baskets that look like they were made for Dolores Park right here!

Scarborough Fair
Who woulda thunk it? I'm crazy for shelving...!
Loving it!
Isn't this spice rack just perfection?
I know, it's a sickness. Since when is shelving so captivating to me??

Crystal
Been having a lot of crystal visions myself lately. Pardon me, I'm just going through this heavy agate and crystal thing right now.
Erica Weiner makes effing amazing jewelry in general and this necklace is out of control!
And this notebook is gorge.
These are actually hand made soaps! Love em!
Kind of in love with these rings too, but they seem delicate and easily breakable too for someone as klutzy as me...I'm no ballerina like Stevie Nicks.

Into the Mystic
Caveat: while I of course enjoy the original song the most, this cover is a lovely version made by two lovely people. To read my interview with Glen Hansard, click here.
Meanwhile, in this edition, we explore the mystical embroidered sun dress' undeniable allure for days spent by the sea, even on this foggy San Francisco day.
Wishing it was sunny enough to warrant wearing a dress like this today.
I just snapped this up to wear to a wedding! You can wear black to weddings these days, right?
Oaxacan flower embroidery has historically been one of my obsessions, ever since I had little embroidered mary janes as a kid.
Love the simplicity of this dress.
And, finally, if you're feeling sassy:
This little number might do.

The Love Cats
Not in love with the sheen of the fabric, but fully in love with that print!
Chic-ass panther bag.

I Must Be In A Good Place Now
(Song is originally by the amazing Bobby Charles.)
Laura Zindel is a ceramicist whose work has been displayed in one of my favorite shops' window for some time now, Scarlet Sage on Valencia. I am lucky enough to have one of her creamers in my own home...but I pretty much want everything she makes. What follows are but a few examples:
Exhibit A: Bottles.
Exhibit B: Bowls.
Exhibit C: Dishes.
Exhibit D1: Nest Platter.
Exhibit D2: Snake Platter
Can you see why I am obsessed?
