My other newly reignited obsession of late is Oaxacan wood carved animals. I was walking through Noe Valley the other day when a huge window full of 'em stopped me dead in my tracks!
I had never seen a porcupine one before. LOVE!

Someday I intend to have a tasteful yet extensive collection of these in my home, although I am also somewhat fearful I am already slipping slowly toward a house entirely chock full o' Mexican crafts and little else (besides letterpress cards & records)! Oh, gals and their obsessions...
